# Music credits

The twelve full-length recordings are licensed under [Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/). Artist/track source pages were checked on **2026-10-08**; this licence permits redistribution and adaptation, including public repository/site use with the credits and change notices below. No endorsement is implied.

Josh Woodward's seven recordings use his **instrumental mixes**. Kevin MacLeod and Scott Buckley use their full mixes. Each recording retains stereo and its full musical arrangement; it is loudness-normalised to −18 LUFS with a −2 dBTP target and encoded as **Opus 96 kbps** (`.ogg`) and **MP3 128 kbps** for format compatibility. No excerpt, synthetic instrument replacement or remix was made. Files stream only when played. Failed formats try the alternative; Sonos/radio also try the other recording in the same channel once, then display a load status and stay quiet. PC/laptop/Kaffeturbo remain quiet on unavailable media. Sound effects remain synthesized.

Original download URLs, SHA-256 hashes, mix, duration and processing are in `sources.json`. Retired #416 source metadata is preserved in `previous-sources-416.json`; those recordings are no longer shipped or selected. Channel ids and channel order remain unchanged, so saved channel indices still resolve correctly.
